Video game stocks retreat on game pricing worries

Shares of video game companies slipped on Tuesday as analysts debated whether price cuts on games for Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 are a signal that profit expectations for the new video game console cycle may be too high.

Shares of Electronic Arts Inc., the world's biggest video game publisher, fell 4 percent. The stock in smaller rival THQ Inc. was off 3 percent and No. 1 U.S. video game retailer GameStop saw its shares decline 2.6 percent.
