IE And Firefox Sport New Zero-day Flaw
Source: TechWeb
________ Multiple security organizations warned Tuesday that Internet Explorer, Firefox, Mozilla, and SeaMonkey -- on Windows, Linux, and the Mac -- are vulnerable to a JavaScript bug that could allow a determined attacker to dupe users into giving up sensitive personal information such as credit card or bank account numbers and passwords. According to Symantec, which issued an alert late afternoon Tuesday, all versions of the Microsoft and Mozilla browsers could be used to harvest data through a JavaScript key-filtering vulnerability. |

I wonder who will get it fixed the quickest?
I am betting that Microsoft will say; "we will fix it next month" and Mozilla will get it sometime this week... |

I'll bet Microsoft will take a day just to laugh at Mozilla because thier claims of being a better browser are falling apart. Security exploits, bug ridden code - welcome to the big time FireFox! It doesn't get any easier!
Where are the Opera fans anyway? I'd figure atleast one of them would have stuck thier nose into this by now! :P |
