Don't Expect Half-Life 3

Actually they really wanted to call hl2-ep1, Half-life 3, but it wan't good PR

Great interview, read it, alot of good stuff.

And i agree with valve, better to get new eps within a few years insted of waiting more then a half decade for a new full game.

Thats all bullshit cause Aftermath was intended as an expansion and they simply changed it to episodic format. This is not HL3 and everyone knows it.

I just have HL2 Episode 1 (cough...not so legal) and i will install it soon

The good thing is that does not need HL2 original DVD to play from what i read

The game describes incidents after what happened to HL2
It's 2-4 hours fun

If you go through hl2-ep1 in 2 hours then you should turn off the rocket boots

A great game like hl2-ep1 is more enyoed in a slower pace and then it easily lasts 5-6 hours

I agree, Erroneus. I took my time with it and it was more enjoyable to me. I guess a lot of people rush through it to prove that it's actually 2 - 3 hrs instead of 5 - 6 hrs. It's for $20 people; you're not going to get 8 - 10 hrs of gameplay
