Bose offers new noise cancellation tech in headphones

Source: PlayList
_________
Bose’s newest QuietComfort headphones feature new noise cancellation technology, more comfortable earpads and an option cell phone connectivity kit. The $349 QuietComfort 3 Acoustic Noise Cancelling headphones are scheduled to go on sale starting in mid-June.

The headphones are the latest generation of the QuietComfort series, which employs active noise cancelling circuitry, instead of just blocking extraneous noise from the ear canal, as many less expensive in-ear earphones do. The electronics provided increased active attenuation compared to their predecessors, according to Bose, which means that users will experience even less unwanted noise from the outside world.
