ATI delays driver support for native physics processing

Source: Techspot
___________
Not only Catalyst 6.6 drivers was late out on the track, it looks like driver support for native physics processing is going to be late also.

Though ATI was singing quite a different tune at this year's Computex, it seems that many were right in assuming ATI's answer to PhysX won't be here for quite some time. At Computex, ATI demonstrated their way of doing native physics processing by coupling multiple Radeon cards together. The idea sounds neat and supposedly is already supported in the RD600 based cards, but it won't be in the hands of the consumer for at least another 9 to 12 months.
