Sony to release low-spec PS3 in UK?

In May SCEE UK chief Ray Maguire said the UK was unlikely to see the 20GB version which comes without HMDI 1.3 support, the larger hard drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and a four-in-one media card reader.

However the UK section of the new official PlayStation 3 website features the specification of both models. Judging by the images on the website both black case models look pretty similar apart from a silver trim on the more expensive model.
