Gateway gears up for back to school

Gateway's retail strategy for the back-to-school season became apparent this week, with its heavy concentration on low-priced multimedia notebooks.

Several new models have already arrived on the shelves of Gateway's retail partners and others will follow over the first weeks of July, a company representative confirmed. They include a revamp of Gateway's midrange notebooks with 14-inch and 15-inch displays, as well as a new addition to its high-end Platinum line.
