Over in Opposable Thumbs, Ben Kuchera has lamented the summer doldrums of the video game industry. The marketing departments at the big developers generally take the summer off, holding back the big releases for the fall or the holiday shopping season. That's why the news that video game sales for June 2006 were up 25 percent from a year ago is surprising some observers.

I like it when games come out in the summer. I have a lot more time at night and stuff to play them. O well I still have bf2! And right now I have not found any games that are better.
