fUnc sUrface1030 Archetype MBA Review @ XYZ Computing

Review: XYZ Computing
__________
Finding the right mousing surface can be a real challenge. While many people choose to settle for the cheapest thing they can find, there are a growing number of people who are willing to spend a considerable chunk of change on their mouse pad. These people, whether they are gamers, graphics professionals, or power users, realize that a nice mouse pad brings along improved accuracy, smoother movement, and a whole lot of style points. There is personal preference involved in choosing a mouse pad, but it is easy to understand if one is well designed or not.

While plastic is a popular choice for inexpensive mouse pads, higher end models are usually made of some sort of coated metal. In the past we have had the chance to take a look at some great metal surfaces, such as the Ulti-mat, Razer eXactmat, and the Banshee Pad. Each of these is a high end mouse pad, built for demanding users who are looking for solid performance and design to match. This time around we will be looking at pad from a company which made a name for itself with their sUrface 1030 plastic pad. The mouse pad which we will be reviewing is actually a high-end version of that mouse pad. The fUnc sUrface 1030 Archetype MBA is a double-sided mouse pad which has a billet aluminum base and is designed to compete with the best mousing surfaces available.
