UbiSoft released its
second quarter financial results today and revealed that their long awaited stealth action game Splinter Cell: Double Agent has experienced another (slight) delay. Originally announced as coming out this past spring and then delayed until September, the new press release now gives a late October release date for the game. UbiSoft's fall line up still includes Red Steel, Rayman Raving Rabbids and Rainbow Six Vegas. Revenues for the previous quarter were up 62 percent compared to the same time period a year ago, thanks to sales of Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (over 570,000 Xbox 360-PC units sold) and Heroes of Might & Magic V (over 350,000 PC units sold).
