Blizzard has released a new pair of patches for StarCraft and Brood War, upgrading their real-time strategy game and its expansion pack to version 1.14. This is a major update, implementing ladder, chat and other feature changes, over a dozen bug fixes, and a series of exploit repairs as detailed in the accompanying Release Notes

yay! my favorite game with a new update. rock on. this game will never die. I hope they release the new one to coincide with the 10 year anniversary of regular SC.

This game has the best support I've ever seen. It's at least 8 years old and still gets regular updates.
