Savage 2 Beta Delayed

The Savage 2: A Tortured Soul Forum (thanks Voodoo Extreme) has word on a delay to beta testing of S2 Games' upcoming RTS/FPS sequel:

We have officially delayed the beta. We tried as hard as we could to meet our self given deadline of July 31, 2006. However, in the interest of releasing a more complete, less buggy beta version of Savage 2: A Tortured Soul we have made this decision. We will not be giving a specific date on when the beta will begin. In 2 weeks we will release an official update to our progress and hopefully have a better timeline. We expect we’ll have mini-updates as to our progress along the way and also do not expect the overall delay to be too long. Please be patient while we work very diligently to create an excellent product for all of our participants to test. Thank you to all of our fans who have pre-ordered, we look forward to 'serving' you very soon!
