Firefox hits 200 million downloads

Chicago (IL) - Mozilla announced that the Firefox web browser has been downloaded more than 200 million times since its launch in November of 2004. And Firefox isn't slowing down: The latest 50 million downloads were added in a record time of less than five months.

Yeah I've been hearing alot of problems with Opera 9, it's a nice browser though

If it wasn't for the extensions in Firefox, i would defiently be using Opera.

Btw. dont use the latest nightly build of Firefox 2.0 Beta 1, it has some major stability problems, which they are working on, the build from the 27 july works fine though

seriously, switch to opera and take ten minutes out of your life to set it up, you won't regret it.
it is the best browser.

Opera is great (used if for some years), but from my point of view it's not the greatest. It cant offer me the same as Firefox can, because i of the extensions. I use alot of extension to tweak my browser to act excactly like i want it and I can't do that with Opera.

I'll admit a few of those downloads were mine, but once I tried opera I prefered it by far.
