Now some people found it JUST a tad hard to swallow a chip that wasn't released in 2002 winning the best new GPU of 2002, but when someone posted a thread about it at nVnews, the tool Peter Glaskowsky responds to his detractors much to everyone's merriment .

It's fun to watch a guy try and defend the indefensible, but I'll give him points for trying. He actually came back after 3 pages of derision and abuse to tell everyone just how wrong they were.

They must have paid him a LOT to get him to defend it like that. Better hurry and read it, this joker don't strike me as the type who will last very long.

Hell, if the chip's were avalable that early other board manufactureswould have bought them and made their own chipsets and they still would have been out before now.

The FX is the best........The best way to piss your money away!

To me Nvidia had a great opportunity and have the technology to be the best but they really blew it this time and they are looking for any avenue to help make themsleves not look like they really screwed up. Ati seems to be the smart ones on track and doing their best. I absolutely think the 9700 is the best out!
