Prey Review @ Elite Bastards

To say that Prey has been a long time in coming would be an understatement - To all intents and purposes it has, until recently at least, been the forgotten brother to that ubiquitous inclusion on all those yearly 'Top 10 Vapourware' lists, Duke Nukem Forever. Indeed, the similarities between the two titles are obvious - Initial development of the title was carried out by 3D Realms, and the game should initially have been released around eight years ago.

But, now is the time to put all of that to one side - Here we are, holding a nice, shiny new copy of Prey in our hands... On DVD no less - You wouldn't have gotten that eight years ago! The long gestation period of the title suggests that it's either going to be an over-engineered disaster, or a work of pure genius. So which is it to be? Read on as we blast through the game to find out for ourselves.
