Cooler Master Extreme Power Duo 600 Watt Power Supply @ HI-Tech Reviews

Review: HI-Tech Reviews
_______________
am in the process of putting together a new AM2 system and I was curious how much power was recommended for all of my components to operate safely. These will include a HIS X1900GT that I reviewed earlier and a new Epox MF570 SLI motherboard I picked up from Newegg. It will also have a pair of 500 GB Hitachi SATA 150 drives in it. To get a rough number on how many watts this system would demand I went over to Extreme OuterVision, where they happen to have one of the best and most up to date power supply calculators around. In the end it said I would need a supply that would be capable of putting out 294 watts. Now when the I have the money for the second X1900 the second PCI-e card will raise the power supply requirement to 390 watts.
