I can see it migrating to become a more general purpose auxiliary CPU (yes, it runs Linux onboard!).
Bigfoot, big talk, but just how much percent of a modern CPU is actually spent on network traffic, even without checksum offloading and other tricks?

BIG BULLSHIT:
2) Unlike TCP/IP, there are no real standards in game networking. Games rely on UDP technology, which is not the same technology as Servers, which is where the big guys focus. WRONG WRONG BULLSHIT AND WRONG! and never mind the 4 to 10 routers that sit between your PC and the game server where the real delay sits.
