Kingston HyperX 2GB PC2-6400 CL4 DDR2 Memory Kit @ Vitual-Hideout
Review: Vitual-Hideout
________________ Kingston Technology is one of the world leaders in the memory market. Their popular HyperX series is geared for the computer enthusiasts that want quality high performance memory, however Kingston produces the full line of memory from value to top of the line. Today I have for you the Kingston KHX6400D2LLK2/2GN Memory Kit. This is a 2x1GB DDR2 kit rated for PC2-6400 (800mhz) speeds. It's also programmed with NVIDIA's new Enhanced Performance Profiles (EPP) and is marketed as "SLI-Ready". Kingston makes a twin set to this without the "SLI-Ready" branding also. The "N" at the very end of the model number denotes the NVIDIA SLI Ready moniker. |

Shitty review btw.
"Since memory timings are pretty important to memory performance, I didn't want to start loosening up the timings to 5-5-5-15 or worse just to gain a few overall MHz, but end up losing performance in the benchmarks." What the hell, how can he conclude this. He doesn't now what it could hit with CL5, it might be faster then 900 MHz CL4 and myabe the readers would like to know... |
