Timothee Besset's .plan file has a thumbs-up for QuakeCon 2006 and word on an updated version of the Linux Quake 4 client/server, bringing the penguin-powered edition of Raven's first-person shooter to version 1.32. The update address installer and SMP issues present in version 1.3, and there are also locations listed for the 'id' SDL lib that will address the SMP problems if you've already managed to get the 1.3 patch to install. The patches can be found mirrored on 3D Downloads and 3D Gamers.
