Sabre II details emerge

Credit goes to warp2search again for their latest story about the new Sabre II. They found the info from Xabre Gamers who also have the specs and the skinny on what looks like an actual third party contender at the viddy card King title.

So let's do a quick recap : the SiS 340 aand 341 both support DX9 and AGP8x. Both models will have 500Mhz DDRII memory (!!) and will have the core clocked at 375Mhz. The only difference lies with the number of pipelines : 8 for the SiS340 and 4 for the SiS341.

Sounds like SiS is serious about this one! I think I'm gonna have to check out one of these...something really new and different to play with, and it sounds powerful.

What was it now, XP4 or something....

We certainly need another contender to keep Nvidia and ATI honest
