Ubisoft, LucasArts Announce Partnership, Star Wars: Lethal Alliance

French-headquartered publisher Ubisoft today announced Star Wars: Lethal Alliance, a new licensed action adventure game for the PSP and DS that is the first official title in a newly signed long-term licensing partnership between Ubisoft and LucasArts.

The PSP version of the game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studio, while its Nintendo DS counterpart is being helmed by the company's Casablanca studio. Both versions are scheduled to launch worldwide on December 6, 2006.

That's pretty quick for a game, especially a Star Wars game to be released so close to an announcement date.

Either way... want this game, I do.
