Roadmaster VRFM8 FM Modulator Review @ BrightHand

Review: BrightHand
________
Just about all handhelds and most smartphones make great audio players. With high-capacity SD and Compact Flash cards as cheap as they are, it's easy to carry many hours of music around with you everywhere you go.

Listening to your favorite album or podcast on a set headphones is fine most of the time, but it's not a good idea when you're driving. Also, other people in the car might want to listen, too.

In the old days, people solved this problem with adapters that plugged into a tape player, but most car stereos these days use CDs instead. That's where Roadmaster's VRFM8 FM Modulator comes in.

This wireless adapter plugs into the built-in cigarette lighter and broadcasts a signal to your car's radio. This lets you play whatever you want over the car's speakers. It's like having a tiny, short-range radio station in your pocket.

The VRFM8 lets you choose between two sources for the audio files you want to play. One option is to store them on your mobile device and connect to the adapter through a cord. The other option is to use a USB keydrive.
