Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 is being reintroduced

Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 is mouse loved by many. Despite the fact that Microsoft stopped making the mouse many held it firmly in their hands and close to their hearts. It was a simple mouse of good size. In fact this was the mouse that kept Microsoft's part of the gaming segment of the mouse market for very long and then it had to fight Logitech's new MX series. Now long after its disappearance Microsoft has decided to reintroduce the Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0. The "new" mouse will be available in September and has been reworked a bit under the hood.

The new mouse will have an optical engine that will produce up to 9000 frames per second, new feet and a better and more flexible cord to mention a few things.

Loved my old MS mouse. However, I would only have concidered getting this one if they had added a few more buttons. I would miss the 8 buttons that I have have gotten used to while gaming on my Logitech.

sweet i'm useing version 1.0a , before 1.0 and I love this mose the shape is most confortable
vs the strage fell of odd design of all other mice. My intellmose rock not to mention at $14.99
you just can't beat it. This looks like the time to upgrade my mouse is drawing near

In addition to this mouse, there's another one that Microsoft is making in partnership w/ Razer.

i'd buy that, i'm still using an optical mouse 1.1a that i got for $10 in plastic bag (oem) from a swapmeet
