Panasonic to sell $80,000 TV set

BERLIN (Reuters) - Panasonic said on Thursday it would start selling the world's largest television set, featuring a 103-inch (262-centimetre) screen, for $80,000.

"That's before installation cost," said a Panasonic spokesman at the IFA consumer electronics fair here.

Panasonic is the main brand name for products of Japanese electronics giant Matsushita.The set is five inches thick.

103 inches.. rotfl.. not enless it can manage a resolution never plausibly conceived by man yet, let alone number gourging that would require all of nasa to push any recent game at a respectiable rate. (although look amazing lol)

i've only 1 dell 3007fpw atm..... i've absalutely no reason to have more.

For a true lesson in grammar check out some of my posts, whilst my spelling is fine even at 28 I've still not figured out where/were or there/their

I play my PC occasionally on my 32" Samsung TV and it just seems to lose all it's crispness. Not just that but even with the TV in gamemode and 8ms I still get ghosting which you can see if you look carefully.

lelisevis, i'll agree, some of the lcd tvs can't keep up, but trust me, the tv i've got does a damn good job, however the dell blows the doors off it in the ghosting and overall crispness arena..

considering that the resolution of the samsung tv is crap in comparison to.

Here at panasonic we have an elite team of installers ready to deploy worldwide... oh and whats the view range on this like 100 ft if i sit to close will i need sun screen. after all i've said I'd still like one... on my yacht

the niehborhood just had a power outage... next time turn off all other circuts and watch in the dark. the first television to be viewed from outerspace. NSA Employees can watch your tv from space
