Asustek lands order for 300,000 set-top boxes

Asustek Computer has landed an order for 300,000 multimedia-on-demand (MOD) set-top boxes (STBs) from Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), the Chinese-language Apple Daily cited company sources as saying. Currently, Asustek has secured STB orders from 10 customers, according to the paper.
