Intel’s latest chipset INF Update Utility dated on August 21st, 2006 adds official support for the unannounced Intel 3000 and 3010 series of chipsets. This is verified in the release notes for the Intel chipset INF Update Utility version 8.1.1.1001 posted on Intel’s download page. Intel’s 3000 and 3010 chipsets were formerly known as Mukilteo 2 and Mukilteo 2P and part of Intel’s Kaylo single socket server platforms.
