When HP first took the wraps off the iPAQ rx4000 Mobile Media Companion just a few days ago, it declined to reveal very many details of this model. However, Yahoo! was able to learn more about it.

Unfortunately, the source of this information is based in Hong Kong, so the description of this upcoming handheld is in Chinese. Still, it's possible to glean some details from it that weren't previously available.

Reportedly, the rx4000 will use a 400 MHz processor from Samsung. It will have 64 MB or RAM and 128 MB of ROM.

What many will find most interesting about this new information is a reference to 1 GB of ROM.
