Today in the BFR labs we have the Samsung SPH-A640 cell phone. The A640 is one of Samsung's newest phones on the market and belongs to service provider Sprint. The A640's form is a flip-phone where the front cover flips upwards to expose the keypad. It features Sprint's ReadyLink walkie-talkie technology, web browsing capability, SMS messaging, text messaging, Bluetooth connectivity, and a built-in camera. However, the A640 does not feature the latest phone technologies like MP3 support, video recording capabilities, or a high resolution camera (the A640's camera only shoots at 640x480). The A640 features 32.0 MB ROM and 8.0 MB RAM. The total multimedia download capacity is 4.0 MB meaning that users will have to upload all of the content that they want to save.
