Roadees's Fastest Rig Competition - Revisited

We here at Driverheaven would like to remind all of you hardware junkies visiting our forums, about the Overclocking competition that resides in the Overclocking and Modding section of the forums.
All entries has been resetted and all classes are now open, so start benching guys and gals!

The winner of each title will be given a MASSIVELY oversized avatar in respect of their in accordance to their title class. But be aware the avatars will be moving like a trophy between the members who break each other's scores. Just to make sure that your hard work does not go without notice, each person that successfully challenges a person's score will retain the avatar for at least one week.

No your just limited 5 submissions per program

ugh....i wish i could get back into the competition. but i'm not going to reformat until the semester is over.

the rules have to be readjusted for those not running windows xp 32bit as there main OS due to the fact that some of the tests refuse to work at all under anything else.

OR slight adjustments... i don't know.

or those running x64 could adjust a bit to abide by the rules until they are changed.

Last I checked, there weren't all that may good gaming benchmarks that used x64 anyways

alot of people are getting machines with x64 preinstalled. I highly doubt someone is willing to go out of there way to buy a full copy of 32bit windows to run the benchmark.

Plus, it's not that there are x64 benchmarks available, it's selecting the benchmarks that work without an issue under x64.

No they arent. People have more sense. All Microsoft's 64 bit operating systems (including 64 bit Vista to this point) are useless apart from a few applications. We arent tailoring Roadee's competition to allow people to use a 64 bit operating system, not at this time anyway.

and I sold the rest of it. Don't worry, I hope to be back in the game by the end of October at the latest

Just a question here, is the competition ever goint to be updated for some newer benchmarks like PCMark06 and 3DMark06?

to add to that question.....if that is ever implemented, will we need to run all the current benchmarks (3dmark03/05/06, and PCmark04/05), or will the older benchmarks be dropped for the newer ones?
