Back during Computex in Taipei this past summer, Intel officially unveiled their lastest core logic solution, the 965 chipset. While not targeted to replace the 975X chipset as the enthusiast platform of choice for Intel processors, the P965 chipset is making its way into enthusiast class motherboards such as this Asus P5B Deluxe. Our review sample came with the WiFi-AP moniker, indicating that the board also comes with integrated wireless networking features.

P5B is really a killer OC board with the latest bios, personally I'm waiting for rd600 and DFI though and if they suck, I'm going for the P5B-E Rev 1.03

I want the NVIDIA 590 Chipset for Intel Core 2 Duo! But otherwise, I'd be all for the 965 Chipset

I must agree with Sandok,I too am waiting for the 590 sli intel boards to hit the street,they look very impressive in all the reviews,but damn when are they gonna hit the market??

I got tired of Nvidia and their crappy nforce drivers

Also the reviews I've seen so far of 590 hasn't been that fantastic, it seems like a rather dull upgrade from nforce 4.

Compared to ATI's poor southbridge and powerhungry solution? I'd rather got 590...

And you sure you aren't confusing the 570 and 590 chipsets? CUz the 570 is a poor upgrade of nforce 4... Not the 590

570 sli and 590 sli are pretty similar, 590 got linkboost, max overclokcing (useless) and 2x16, so I'm pretty sure they are in the same familiy

Anyway yeah i was thinking about 590 sli and I'm just not impressed with it's speed and oc ability.

From what NV says, the 570 is utter rubbish at OCing (which was verified by many sites) but the 590 is a king at it, plus it has a few extra options as you have noted

We'll see when the time comes
