MS forces Neowin.net offline?

It seems Microsoft has taken steps to force Neowin.net offline. After Neowin posted a P2P SDK, Microsoft apparently retaliated by having them taken offline through means which remain unclear. It is not known how long their website will be unavailable. We will stay with the story and bring you more when it is available.

WEB SITE neowin.net came back up yesterday a few hours after we wrote our original story.
We were being entertained by the Intel Corporation, so had no access to the Interweb for most of yesterday afternoon.

The site now has relayed what happened to it over the last few days.

Meanwhile we have had a letter from a guy in Odessa who says he tipped off Microsoft about NDA stuff on the neowin site. Here's the chain mail. The only things we've removed are the people's email addresses, real addresses and phone numbers.
