This download contains an improved version of the drivers found on the Sound Blaster® X-Fi™ XtremeMusic, Platinum, Fatal1ty and Elite Pro installation CDs. It provides full OpenAL support for gamers.

This download includes Creative Audio Console, which enables you to configure the Sound Blaster X-Fi features and functions.

Added Features or Enhancements:
-Supports OpenAL 1.1

Fixes:
-Resolves the issue of the computer not responding when Cubase® interacts with X-Fi applications
-Allows MidiSynth to synchronize properly with selected SoundFont® content
-Resolves OpenAL issues

These have now been updated twice in one month.... much quicker than the norm,but no doubt this set may just be a bug fix release.

It may depend on the version,the was one for the vista operating system early this month,seeing as vista has not been realeased yet most drivers are still considered beta's? (i may be incorrect on this).

I have a x-fi xtreme music edition and i know i have updated (and posted Here) the drivers for the card twice this month already for wondows xp (32 bit),from creatives website.Which this one posted today is included.
