Asustek Computer will extend its own-brand GPS (global positioning system) hand-held product line from PDAs to PNDs (portable navigation devices), with its first GPS PND model, the S101, to be soon launched in Taiwan at a recommended retail price of NT$12,900 (US$392) and a second model to be shipped to the US and Europe beginning in December according to industry sources.
