Athlon XP 3600+ with 400 MHz FSB
The German website Chip.de has posted their modding guide for Athlon XP processors with a FSB of 133/166Mhz: they will show you, how to turn these Athlon XP processors! starting with the Athlon XP 1700 and XP 2600+ CPU's ,they moded these into Athlon XP 2500+ and 3000+ with a 400 MHz FSB and turned the Athlon XP 3000+ Barton into a Athlon XP 3600+ with 400 MHz FSB and all for 1 euro!

Damn... That look interesting... Pity I can't make head nor tail of a lot of that google translation... I don't suppose anyone speakes german and could do a translation?

Well pretty much all of it TC. The Google translation has more or less junked it. But then Google language tools are meant for much simpler non technical tasks... I looked again anyway... It would be a pretty big job for anyone to do a proper translation..

As far as I can see, the only hardware tweak is a volt mod, and the rest is just clock/multiplier manipulation

Well it involves a potentiometer, that's a pretty "out there" volt mod.
