Singapore - Free wireless surfing at 600 'hot spots' started Friday in a drive to provide broadband service to all internet users in Singapore.

Implemented two months after Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced the initiative, the wireless access enables people to go online at public places including shopping malls, downtown areas, libraries, country clubs and town centres.
