Yahoo Drew More Traffic Than Google in 2006

Yahoo was the most trafficked Web brand for 2006, with approximately 354.5 billion page views through Nov. 30, according to new data released this week by Nielsen Media Research Web-tracking units. The data, which took a broad look at the most popular media of the year, showed that MySpace garnered the second-highest number of page views, while Google placed third.

Don't know why that is because google > yahoo.

I have seriously been to yahoo.com maybe like 2 or 3 times this year.

Edit: Prolly cause they have news and google doesn't. Or at least Idon't think it does.

The only good yahoo is that chocolate milk.

google owns the cell phone market, which i bet isn't counted at all, and i wonder if this is homepage only, or subdomains too?

The milk is Yazoo! not Yahoo! lol And yes, it is a good milk.

I rarely visit google in relation to yahoo. Though recently i did find out about exalead which is cool too.

Yahoo has far too many more things than Google has, for now at least.
Plus, everybody tells me how good google is and everyone on tv and internet says "googling" or "to google that" etc and I am sick of it, so I use it even less.

I couldn't agree more, I never look at yahoo because google is so good. But then again millions of people use Myspace and that is one horrific service/website (good idea though).
