Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS), a leading motherboard producer in Taiwan, formally acquired Uniwill Computer, a second-tier notebook Taiwanese PC maker, on December 25 and expects its OEM/ODM notebook shipment volume to rise to three million units in 2007, according to ECS.
