Intel loses ground to AMD in antitrust case

Source: TechSpot
__________
Originally trying to keep the issues within the U.S., Intel has lost a bit of ground to AMD in the anti-trust case against them. They have conceded to allowing information and acts outside the U.S. to be brought into the case. They are doing this semi-voluntarily, acting on the recommendation from others:

Concurring with AMD's request, a judicially appointed special master overseeing elements of the case had recommended on December 15 that Intel share information from foreign operations in the evidence-gathering process called discovery. On Thursday, Intel said it wouldn't fight that recommendation.
