Fujitsu ships first WiMax system-on-chip components

___________ Fujitsu Microelectronics America has begun shipping the first commercially available WiMax baseband system-on-chip (SoC) component. Equipment manufacturers including solutions provider Texas Instruments, WiMax systems provider Orza Networks and WiMax customer premises maker Sun Create Electronics have ordered the chips, according to Fujitsu.
