NEW YORK (Reuters) - Analysts and investors will be looking for clear signs Motorola Inc. can turn around weak profits without sacrificing market share when the No. 2 mobile phone maker reports results on Friday.

Motorola warned on January 4 that its fourth-quarter profit and revenue would fall short of estimates due to an unfavorable geographic and product mix. It has promised to discuss plans to improve operating profit when it reports results this week.
