Some TomTom Devices Shipped With Trojans

Source: DailyTech
__________
TomTom, purveyors of portable navigation, have confirmed reports that TomTom GO 910s, produced between September and November 2006, and shipped with software version 6.51, may be infected with a virus. The fumble was first reported by tech blogger Davey Winder, who wrote that certain models of TomTom GO 910 would trigger anti-virus alerts when connected to a PC.

The maker of the GO 910 states, “The viruses that were detected present an extremely low risk to customers’ computers or the TomTom GO 910. To date, no cases of problems caused by the viruses are known.”
