He also shared his views on those Apple television commercials in which the Mac is represented by a hip guy and the PC by, well, a dweeb.

anyone notice that the last set of apple ads actually make it seem like the PC is more usefull/constructive then the mac? I talked to other people that saw it locally here and they said they were confused by it, it actually seemed like the ad was for the PC and not for the mac.

Kinda funny.

lmao, i love how Bill Gates says that Mac's UI came from MS's UI. BULL. I'm pretty sure it was the other way around.

actually, i recall back when they were first doing things for longhorn, before mac has thier gui all layed out, they previewed it, then mac jumped on the look and made it and released it. Remember vista has been in production for ages, the concepts and idea were known not to long after the design and contruction was being poored.

I'd like to see a comment from someone that fully knows the entire storyline/facts and dates even of when vista/longhorn were first widely seen (leaked) and when mac go it's revised vista look.

And if we went to when the GUI first made it's appearance, Xerox really got boned. It's a moot point when it comes to them.
