NVIDIA Detonator 43.45, with 3DMark2003 Optimisation
Just got word from AC @ Nvmax.com that he's posted details of what's new in Detonator 43.45 and had a chat with a Nvidia spokesperson...
The driver includes new optimisations for the 3DMark 2003 performance tool, disregarding FutureMarks call for no such optimisations to be included. With the new driver some tests perform upto 300% better than previous drivers. NVIDIA Detonator 43.45, with 3DMark2003 Optimisation |

Why would nVidia optimize drivers for a benchmark which they said doesn't give real results?

and 300% wouldnt proly happen more like 1% |

nForcer that score is too low.
Anyway, these drivers DO NOT have the 3DMark03 optimzations, read the interview. |

and ati has never done that? sure has so whats the big deal? and then tell my why those benching them are showing a LOWER score ??? any one complainabout optimized drivers should then post thier scores with 3.0 then 3.1's (posted the day before 3dmark a publicly released) and then the 3.2's what that a perfomace boost?
