It's now released, but with a serious side issue for users with Realtek HD sound
The Realtek HD Audio Control Panel may not start, and you receive an error message when you start the computer: "Illegal System DLL Relocation" The patch for this issue - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/ is NOT on open release.... "contact Microsoft Customer Support Services to obtain the hotfix"

It wasn't before, I guess they realized they would be inundated, or perhaps it was undergoing further tests.
Unless there are any negatives, this should really have been bundled with the other patch to prevent the issue arising.

They dont change a patch with updates, they create new ones, with new kb number, which superseedes the older one.
This is done, so it's fairly easy for sys-admins on larger networks to know what has been installed, as long as they know the KB number. |

I then went to the RealTek site and grabbed the latest HD files and it took care of the problem. |
