Thermaltake became a central player in high performance cooling almost overnight with their original Golden Orb Cooler. Back in the year 2000, the Golden Orb was the thing to have as far as "high tech" cooling went with it's aluminum billet core and radial fins branching out in 360 degrees. A few years went by and Thermaltake resurrected the Orb design with what else but the Golden Orb II. Same basic design but sized substantially larger. Fast forward again to 2007. Thermaltake has honed this proven design to now represent its flagship air cooler, the MaxOrb.
