ATI really have gone and fucked up now :/
i would never use the onboard sound thing since i reckon it'll make performance worse since the card has to process the visual elements of everything going on as well as the auditory stuffs...
i'm happy with my value 5.1 dedicated sound card, that's why i'm switching to a 7600GS when i get the money...
the extra cost i spose is something i could live with when it comes to nvidia

After not being able to get my microphone working, I'm looking forward to a sound card on the R600. It's probably actually end up working properly.
