OCZ 2x1GB PC2-6400 Flex XLC DDR2 Memory Kit Review @ Virtual-Hideout
Review: Virtual-Hideout
________________ A few weeks back, I had the pleasure of working OCZ's PC2-9200 Flex XLC Dual Channel 2x1GB Kit. This is currently one of the rare kits on the market that are able to top 1250MHz when overclocked. Under stock settings, the memory operates at 1150MHz with 5-5-5 timings using 2.35 volts. The PC2-9200s aren't the most power hungry modules, but they do tend to heat up just a bit under maximum frequencies. Water cooled didn't prove to be very beneficial in terms of overclocking or stability, but it did drop the temperatures down about 15 C at full load. |
