Ultra High-Speed Memory from Corsair and OCZ @ Xbit Labs
Review: Xbit Labs
_______________ The leading manufacturers of overclocker memory modules are conquering another speed limit. Now DDR2 SDRAM can work at 1150 and 1250MHz. In our today’s review we are going to check what these speeds actually mean for overclockers and how pleased they will be with this impressive achievement. I just looked at the article. Wow. Look at the performance difference between the top speeds for the tested RAM, and then at DDR2-800 5-5-5. At best, 8% and 5% in compression and encoding respectively, and of course less in games. The 3 kits they tested go for $300, $400, and $600. You can get decent DDR2-800 5-5-5 for $100, and be better off spending the difference on a better CPU or graphics card. Unless you're already maxed out in those parts, then the money would be better spend on items like pizza and alcohol. Just how I see it.

Thanks, good read.
So what I took away from that is unless your a rich, OC fanatic 800mhz kits with tight timings is the way to go
