Gmail users are young, hip, richer
Source: Between the Lines Blog (ZDNet)
__________ Google Gmail is a magnet for the young, rich and hip, according to Hitwise. Hitwise analyst LeeAnn Prescott writes in a post that Gmail users are a different breed from the Hotmail and Yahoo Mail folks. Hotmail and Yahoo Mail users resemble the online population. Gmail represents the hip early adopters. Mashable's Peter Cashmore says these results aren't surprising. Gmail users may even be better in bed. |

from the privacy policy, bolded emphasis is mine: "Google maintains and processes your Gmail account and its contents to provide the Gmail service to you and to improve our services. The Gmail service includes relevant advertising and related links based on the IP address, content of messages and other information related to your use of Gmail."
Thats why I'd never use it.... I dont want my email stored forever (even if I delete it) either. |
