I do not believe that there is any question that Microsoft has bent over backwards to make sure that Vista would be substantially more secure than Windows XP. And even when considering the given effort, many fear that it is simply a matter of time before malware and viruses catch up to the current state of Vista security. It's hasn't happened yet, but it will.
